I mean there has to be some end to all this. Do I look like some overcredulous pitiable creature or somebody who can be taken for granted? Neither, if you take my opinion. Oh! But of course, don’t we all look very great to us? For our own eyes we are the super-most people who know all the economics, worldly issue including Super intellect, Taekwondo moves, presenting skills & can beat anyone anywhere even beyond the realms of the super chaotic earth. But the mirror which other people show us puts us down. In an art competition, we find that the filthier & messier paintings have won the best prize on account of manifesting interesting & abstract contemporary painting skills, whoa! So we need to go 2 centuries back to get the trophy. Relativity is the game here. So if the current fashion is to choose the contemporary art over the conventional one; even if it means abandoning a highly captivating painting of a lady’s luscious lips reaching for a rich scarlet strawberry to buy a highly modernized painting propagandizing ‘?’ as the most enticing figure ever made with pastiche of color combinations stained here and there to add to its abstract nature; at which even a pig would like to snort gaily and take it home to cheer its dung-smitten wife. Another underlying aspect of relativity is to be different; to abandon the boring historical penchants and practices. Just like browns bleach to become white and yellows & pinks tan to look brazen bronze. A corollary of modern but blind relativity is to follow any trend so credulously that when the trend is outmoded thousands of copy-cat human machines become loose-ends of the economy.
So, if there is a demand of programmers in the market & if a person can do programming, in a just-like-that fashion, others are instigated to evoke the same talent within them, which is natural for the former guy but supernatural for the latter ones who try to instill such abstruse energy in spite of being good at singing or social work just to become the supply to quench the market demand ignoring the parched demand of their own passion-field. Just like there was once such a spike in the computer engineering slapdash opting statistics that now when inflation is at its apex with no mood to mellow down and rupee getting stronger than dollar everyday, the programming guys are quoting ‘mechanical engineering’ to be an evergreen branch! There is no doubt that if demand is for mathematician, and we find ourselves naturally weak to even calculate 2+2 confidently but instead of giving it up, we put infinite efforts to outsmart even the smartest guy of the given field by carefully devising the strategies to first identify all the goals, then mastering everything bit by bit with such diligence that we get the wits outta all the sanctimonious mathematician savants and then bingo! We r the boss! We have beaten that guy! But what about the passion of singing? Or of creative writing? Or of making the world’s bestest cheese? Either u r quite placid or too agitated to answer spontaneously. Well I know the answer: somebody named ‘x’ is doing it for the same reason we were vying to beat that programmer. you know what’s that person doing? He is replacing us. Lemme elucidate it for the text-book geeks, suppose this Mr. X likes mathematics and he proves all his mettle in it to beat Mr. Y who u were beating, then this would have made space for u to carry on your innate passion that Mr. X was trying to inject in his bile.
Our world is a disorganized place, pretty messy just like Augean stable. When we compare a 2 year old’s thoughts while crying in a crowd when his system comes to an end with the relativity of multitude’s mundane activities; we find a relation ship here that explains why so many people get cardiac arrests, figuratively as well as literally, while all the world is bent upon moving the motor of the world. Doesn’t your heart skip a beat when you are told to concentrate on your algebra skills and beat some xyz number of people to earn fame to your family so that your mother can wear the mascara of pride everytime she throws contemptuous looks on her peers when u have always wanted to be a singer? People say it ain’t easy to be a singer but why? *Is it easy to crack IIT-JEE or CAT or AIIMS where you have to beat lakhs of aspirants? But people say, its not impossible dude, you can do it, if you put your ‘heart’ in it, you would reap the results, you can crack CAT and reach on the top of the world. Here the world gets into potty coz here the people decide to buy a new heart to comprehend what type of achievements they can expect by being on the top of this new world, coz the former heart was bound to the passion of life that gets lost in the mist of newly acquired goals’ fumes. Let’s take another case. Modify the advise of bade bhaiya / mummy/ papa whoever to – “its not impossible dude, you can do it, if you put your ‘heart’ in it, you would reap the results, you can dive like a dolphin and beat those Australians who dive like hiccupped tosspots”, & supposing your only passion in the world is swimming and doing crazy things in water. If you possess the clairvoyance to get a new heart & still beat the champions to get an IIM call, then can’t you get one gold medal in Olympics for India? Now, don’t tell me, it’s this difficult or that impossible else I will transfer u to ‘*’.
It’s up to us to remain deluded all our lives and get lost in the crowd of conventional paradigms or bask in the sweet sunshine of our passion. The point is if others’ [mummy/ papa/ bade bhaiya’s] desires like IIT skills can be honed to perfection, then our own desires can be polished to such a shine that can blind any possible veteran.
Now there are some conventional geeks who would argue that the world would be a menagerie of sports persons & artists of all sorts if we follow the rule to let everyone choose their passion on their accord; as they please. Then they would claim that everybody would like to be a couch potato or Brad Pitt or Tendulkar sibling and the world’s economy would decline with the declining prosperity and technological advancements. Here is a toast to all those ‘conventional geeks’: try organizing this mundane world forgetting for a moment about the rampant demand and supply chains & keeping in mind to place all the people in the fields they are passionate about, even if it means eliminating 5000 IIT alumni and redistributing them to making and selling caramel pop-corns, running Haridwar guide business or getting down under mines to extract gold & even if it costs swapping the gangsters and policemen to ease out the abberation & even if it requires taking all the bath-room singers out of their beloved tub to encourage them to learn quality singing and extirpate public-verdict-fears
& even if it legalizes setting all the casting couch people into porn-industries where they can add even brighter hues to the industry with their passion & even if it means freeing a bored and emaciated house wife of her house-hold duties to embolden and ameliorate her driving skills to compete for the crazy Grand Prix, thus jeopardizing her humiliating married life bent upon to crush and suck all the aspirations of a freely floating crazy mind. Now, we get a situation where nobody squirms under the pressure of losing heart, everyone has an aim equally challenging as before but in their desired field leading to an evenly distributed system consisting of as many fields a human mind can think of leaving absolutely no loop-holes in the system, no forceful life, no depression of being misfit and therefore even our super chaotic world can be alleviated to a harmonious paradise to dwell in, with no fears of cardiac arrests of its occupants, economy & perpetual advancement.

caught me unaware!
i didnt know this blast of a post was coming!
just to say as a sidenote,
reorganizing the 'world' is not required or even possible.
just do it for urself and people who can will follow. that'll be just good enough.
"reorganizing the world is not required"! look around u anup, u can find the mess the demand and supply has created. its not my individualistic approach, its a matter of day-2-day sightings.
u can appreciate the rules of the nature, the rules of the economic models and that of political reality picture in a away how they manage to outsmart the other and make their presence rampant. but cant u notice the chaos in the world? the hue and cry of the common man beyond the games of political parties and Mr. Bush's Dhishum Dhishum?
i m not talking about how much do i lack in myself if i m whining and complaining, cos its not any issue of i being flawless or not, or that everyone has flaws and blah blah... rather its about looking around oneself, looking beyond the realms of corruption and politics. it about straightening the things out, even it means zooming the picture of 'ill tree- india'; whether its about civilians dying in blasts, soldiers fighting to quench political avarice, millions of people under poverty line, rest of the world getting exploited at the hands of the govt. & a handful of millionaire entrepreneurs.
reorganizing the world is a vision, where everyone wd be able to select desired profession without succumbing to the market demand.
you r right, an individual can do it. and the others can follow the suite but thats not possible and appreciable without the collective efforts of the world at large cos its not a vision to pander individualistic desire but to see the whole world community enjoying this opportunity with peace and harmony.
saw the reply only now.
basically, i don't agree with your vision of the 'peace and harmony' world.
and that's why it's pretty pointless for me to comment on your posts.
do admire that you take the pain to write about it, though.
so carry on, tempo se!
Good evening
Awesome post, just want to say thanks for the share
